Chelmsford Motor Club are pleased to announce the 2011 Hutton Kitchens Woodbridge Stages.

Welcome to the fifth running of the Hutton Kitchens Woodbridge Stages.

For this year's route we have decided to have a major change in format. The availability of previously unused roads has allowed us to create a substantially revised 11 mile stage. This will create a big new challenge to competitors and should alleviate the slight 'sameiness' that has crept into the venue recently. We are planning to run 6 stages totaling around 70 miles of smooth flowing tarmac, still with the challenging Buddleia sections.

In recognition of these difficult financial times we have looked very carefully at our costs and are pleased to say we have been able to reduce the entry fee to £210. There will also be the option to pay by bank transfer avoiding the costs involved with credit card transactions.

In order to ensure the maximum competitive mileage for everyone, including those unfortunate enough to have car problems, we will be running a ‘practice rally’ to allow retired crews to rejoin for later stages.

Hutton Kitchens have continued their generous sponsorship and we are hoping to have a few new developments to mark the fifth anniversary of the rally. Scrutineering will be available on Friday evening at the Holiday Inn, Ipswich and we have been able to negotiate a very competitive rate of £57 per room Bed and Breakfast for those wishing to stay overnight.

As usual the event would not run without all the hard work I know the many marshals and organisers
will put in, so a big thanks in advance and our Chief Marshal will ‘contact you shortly’.
